Who We Are

Founder – Cindy Rue has over 25 years’ experience in the makeup and beauty industry and travelled the world working as a hair stylist and makeup artist, settling in Canberra in 2013.

I have focused my career to building my editorial portfolio and, in this time, my work has been featured in over 35 national & international fashion magazines including VOGUE Italia. As well as working on film & TV commercials including projects with Netflix Australia & Paramount+

Over the years I have been involved with many local events and music festivals including an annual marquee at Groovin’ The Moo Canberra where we do up our guests with glitter and jewels making them festival ready.

My passion for glitter styling grew over the years and I wanted to expand to more than just music festivals and so came the idea of Kyndred. A pop-up glitter bar targeting an adult audience. To hire for your next function and add a little fun and sparkle. I mean who doesn’t love a little glitter?

Since launching we have built up a team of trained glitter artists - Kyndred means family. My vision is to build a community of like minded, creative & passionate people who all have a love to sparkle!
